Pluses:
Will grow in full shade
Will be covered in bumblebees all summer
No thorns
Will fill a large space by sending out runners
 
Minuses:
Not good for small spaces unless you want to keep up with pulling the runners
The berries aren't great for eating.  Kinda small and not very tasty
 
Overall:
This is a beautiful plant that will fill a shady space and attract tons of pollinators.
