Lanceleaf coreopsis might have one of the longest bloom times of any plant in my garden.  It isn't flashy, but it reliably keeps blooming from May thru August.  It is a nice filler or border plant.  It reseeds itself but isn't aggressive, so it's a plant you don't have to pay much attention to.  A good staple.
