Juneberry is also known as Shadberry or Apple Serviceberry. It is a naturally occurring hybrid of Serviceberry (Amelanchier). For best berry production- grow in full sun, moist soil. Let suckers grow for a shrubby/thicket or trim them for tree-like growth. Juneberries resemble blueberries in size, color and taste- often used in jams, jellies and pies.
